Every generation picks a villain. Today it is billionaires. The pitch is always the same: if we just take enough from the people at the top, everyone else will be fine. It sounds good on a bumper sticker. It falls apart under five minutes of honest examination.

The politicians who demonize wealth are rarely proposing to limit their own power. They want more of it. Billionaire-bashing is a tool for expanding government control, not for helping ordinary people. The track record is clear: countries that punished wealth creation did not become more equal. They became poorer.

This song is a reminder that the target always moves. Today it is billionaires. Tomorrow it is millionaires. Eventually it is anyone who built something the state did not approve of. The question is never "how much is too much?" The question is "who gets to decide?"
